From Lukov With Love

If someone were to ask Jasmine Santos to describe the last few years of her life with a single word, it would definitely be a four-letter one.

After seventeen years—and countless broken bones and broken promises—she knows her window to compete in figure skating is coming to a close.

But when the offer of a lifetime comes in from an arrogant idiot she’s spent the last decade dreaming about pushing in the way of a moving bus, Jasmine might have to reconsider everything.

Including Ivan Lukov

Hello fellow Readers! (Notice how i keep changing the way that I introduce very single post because i have no idea what to say at the begging, please let me know haha) Today I have a romance because summer is perfect for the romance books and you can’t tell me otherwise. Unfortunately this year has not been the best and I only have read 1 book with just a romance storyline.

And it was From lukov with love by Mariana Zapata, she is popping, I had never heard of her books until this year. So I had to at least read one of hers and I went with this one.

I was feeling in such a romance mood but also in a bit of a reading slump, was picking up a 500 pages long book a good idea? No it wasn’t. I think I could have enjoyed this book way waaaay more if I was in the mood for it.
I did really enjoyed the figure skating aspect of it, it’s a sport that I ADORE and love to practice so whenever I see a book with this premise I always end up picking it up.
It was quite slow for my personal taste tho, i feel like there were occasions in which everything could have happened way faster but instead it was extremely slow which was a bit of a mood killer for me.
I did liked it anyways, both of the main characters were stunning and I did really understood Jasmine, the fact that she was such a perfectionist and wanted everything perfect at all times is very much like me and can be SO stressful at times.
The relationship between them was so fricking tender and cute, I found myself at times wishing I had an Ivan in my life hahah. He cared SO MUCH for her and wanted her to feel good and comfortable at all times which made me want to get in the book and hug him.
If you like REALLY slow burning romances, then go head and read it but if you don’t, I would suggest you pick up another one since this book may not be for you!

3/5⭐️
