Wow, that's all I can say. I know I'm late for this review since this book came out a long, long time ago but I'm glad I read it.

I was told that it was better if you went into the story without knowing anything but I, for one, think that a little context of the story is very necessary.

It's a big family that spends their summers on an island that they have, family with slalom money in sight. The main character, Cadence Sainclair, suffered an accident two years ago of which she does not remember anything. Cadence wants to return to the island to see his cousins, Johnny, Mirren and his friend Gat. They have a very good relationship and she needs to get back in touch and discover what happened.

From then on, everything was a roller coaster, I was lost in parts, I laughed, I cried and I ended up wow, how I ended up. A captivating story, I literally read it in 1 day because I simply could not stop and although it is strange and sometimes produces confusion, it is worth embarking on this adventure.

At first it was difficult to get into the story, it was told in a way that caused me confusion because there were jumps in time and after reading half a page I realized that they were not talking about their present. I liked the liars a lot, crazy teenagers who wanted to enjoy the summer, sometimes I did not understand what the hell they were talking about and sometimes they understood what they were thinking. But I really missed a part of the story until the end. WOW the end.

Cadence, I didn't quite get to connect with her, I don't know why, but I feel like I missed out on her story and her life off the island.

The same thing happened to me with the rest of the characters, although I suppose that the beautiful ones of the story, that you don't know so much about it that you don't know how they are going to act later. I don't know if I have an unpopular opinion but I like this book a lot.
